Purpose of the Bursary Programme
The SANAS External Bursary Programme seeks to:
- Support unemployed South African youth to access higher education
- Promote skills development aligned with national priorities
- Reduce financial barriers to tertiary education
- Invest in the future workforce through education and training
What the Bursary Covers
The bursary provides tuition-only funding for approved qualifications, as outlined below:
- National Diploma or Degree:
- Funding of up to R50,000
- Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma:
- Funding of up to R70,000
Please note that the bursary does not cover accommodation, textbooks, transport, or living expenses.
