Applications are open for the Motorola Solutions Foundation Grants Program 2026. The Motorola Solutions Foundation supports programs that contribute to safer cities and thriving communities through strategic grantmaking. The 2026 grant cycle focuses on three core areas: technology and engineering education, first responder programming, and blended programs that integrate both areas. Grants aim to reach under-resourced populations, strengthen nonprofit partnerships, and deliver measurable outcomes through data-driven evaluation.

The grant program enables organizations to:

  • Enhance educational and first responder initiatives for underserved communities
  • Promote technology and engineering skills among students and community members
  • Improve community safety and resilience
  • Deliver sustainable programs with measurable outcomes
  • Build partnerships that strengthen program delivery and long-term impact

Grant

  • The maximum request amount is $50,000 USD; however returning grant recipients may request more than $50,000 USD.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include registered non-profit organizations and institutions that:

  • Operate within communities where Motorola Solutions has a presence
  • Engage under-resourced populations
  • Demonstrate ability to manage structured, measurable programs
  • Geographic Focus: Primarily North America, with emphasis on communities and universities linked to Motorola Solutions recruitment
